“The Pink Floyd album, which will be released in October, is called the Endless River . It is based on [studio] sessions of 1994. This is the swan song by Rick Wright, ”Samson wrote , adding that the new album will be“ very beautiful ”.
The news was confirmed on her Facebook by Dergbrum-Hadson, a BAK vocalist of the group in the 1980s and 1990s. She reports that her voice will sound on the album, and that it will be the fourth album of Pink Floyd with her vocals. She also published a photograph taken in the Pink Floyd studio in 1994.
Macbrum-Hadson writes that the material that will be included in The Endless River was recorded while working on the last studio album Pink Floyd , The Division Bell , so the Rick Wright Group Clawn (1943-2008) will be on the new album. Initially, it was assumed that the music recorded then will be published in the form of a separate release under the working name “The Big Spliff” , which was announced in 1994 by the Pink Floyd drummer by Nick Mason.
According to the newspaper The Sun on Sunday , the Pink Floyd bass player Roger Waters does not take part in the project, and the group representative said that the album will not be accompanied by a concert tour.
