According to Loevsky, the owners of the Purple Legion were not ready for modern realities and reform of the trade policy.

The Purple Legion was one of the oldest Russian stores that traded legal audio and video products, as well as the technique of Hi-Fi and Hi-End classes. The first store opened in 1993 on the Cosmodamian embankment in Moscow. Due to the economic crisis in the late 2000s, the Purple Legion network was forced to gradually turn all outsays except the store on Novokuznetskaya Street.
