Nadezhda Savchenko photo: tsn.uaThe Investigative Committee on July 9 charged the lieutenant of the Air Force of Ukraine Nadezhda Savchenko, who was previously arrested in the Voronezh region (as she got there, a separate issue). Investigators argue that it was Savchenko, being volunteering in the Aidar battalion, who brought mortar fire on the employees of VGTRK Igor Kornelyuk and Anton Voloshin, who died at that of that shelling.
The Ukrainian authorities declare that Savchenko fulfilled a combat duty and suspect that he could be in Russia and not of his own free will.
The accusation of Nadezhda Savchenko, according to the Kommersant newspaper, was personally presented by the head of the Office for the investigation of crimes related to the use of prohibited funds and methods of conducting war of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Alexander Drymanov. She is immediately accused by five points of the 105th article of the Criminal Code (P.P. A, B, E, F., Article 105 of the Criminal Code), formally it sounds like "aiding in the murder of two or more persons in connection with the implementation of official activities, generally hazardous, based on political hatred committed by a group of persons."
Nadezhda SavchenkoThus, 31-year-old Nadezhda Savchenko became the first in the hands of the Russian investigation, a defendant of the criminal case, which was instituted regarding the events in the east of Ukraine.
Earlier in absentia, the charges were brought by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region to businessman Igor Kolomoisky, the court even made an absentee decision on their arrest.
Nadezhda Savchenko previously served in the Ukrainian army, was the navigator of the Mi-24 helicopter and had experience in participating in hostilities-it was part of the Ukrainian contingent in Iraq. There, Russian investigators say, she gained certain gunner skills.
Savchenko, they say in the TFR, worked as a fashion designer before the conflict in the east of Ukraine, but took a vacation and signed up to the Aidar battalion, which in Russia is considered illegal armed formation (in Ukraine, territorial defense units were put into subordination of official structures).
In the TFR, it is believed that on June 17, in the area of the village of Met Metalist of the Luhansk region, Nadezhda Savchenko brought fire to the mortar calculation of the Aidar battalion for civilians, including the employees of the VGTRK Igor Kornelyuk and Anton Voloshin. Moreover, investigators say that Savchenko was aware of the fact that it was firing on people who do not participate in hostilities.
Some time after shelling, Savchenko was captured by the separatists from the Luhansk region and was questioned. The record, on which Savchenko admits that he is a volunteer and “killed people” was posted on the Internet.
What confirms the messages, as if Savchenko brought fire to Russian reporters, was never explained. It is also unclear how Nadezhda Savchenko was in Russia.
Nadezhda Savchenko. Photo: tsn.uaAccording to the Russian side, she crossed the border without documents as a refugee, but her personality was established and Savchenko was not in a refugee camp, but in pre -trial detention center No. 3 of the Voronezh region.
In the Ukrainian side, the Russian version causes reasonable doubts. Firstly, why does Nadezhda Savchenko, who voluntarily joined the Aidar battalion, flee to Russia? Secondly, even being in Russia, Savchenko could not have appeared-it is unlikely that Russian law enforcement agencies have her fingerprints or DNA samples.
Alternative versions in one way or another imply a violation by Russia of international norms and contracts.
The first and most obvious version - Savchenko was transferred to the Russian law enforcement agencies separatists from the Luhansk region. The Russian side rejects this version - Moscow officially does not recognize the Lugansk People’s Republic and therefore cannot have any contacts with its representatives.
The second version suggests that the Russian special services actually stole Savchenko from the territory of Ukraine. In this case, the actions could be similar to what happened to Leonid Razvozzhaev in October 2012.
Recall, the opposition politician, assistant to the State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev, a few days before he was put on the federal wanted list, left Russia. According to the stamp in his foreign passport, the photocopy of which was later published in Novaya Gazeta, he entered the territory of Ukraine through Belarus (Russia does not have border control).
Leonid RazvozhaevIn Kyiv, Razvozhaev turned to the Office of the UN Commissioner for Refugees, but at the exit from the building, according to eyewitnesses, he was captured by unknown and seated in a car that left in an unknown direction. Then the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced non -involvement in the Razvozhaev case, the representative of the SBU said that Moscow did not ask for the detention of its citizen, and RIA Novosti, citing the deputy head of the border services of Ukraine, reported that "Leonid Razvozhaev left Ukraine legally and did not express any remarks to the border guards". After some time, Razvozhaev was in one of the metropolitan pre -trial detention centers.
The head of the Voronezh branch of the Public Supervisory Commission Anatoly Malakhov, who visited the detainee in the pre -trial detention center, handed it to her words that she was generally good at her. Savchenko, he said, says that she was brought to Voronezh - but he does not tell who and when.
Nadezhda SavchenkoThe Ukrainian authorities extremely negatively reacted to the detention and arrest of Savchenko. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic disseminated a statement in which a “decisive protest” was declared in connection with the “illegal export to Russia” Savchenko. Ukrainian diplomats hope to meet with the arrested as soon as the sanction of Russian law enforcement agencies is given to this.
In the meantime, Nadezhda Savchenko is the only real accused in a large Ukrainian case, which is being conducted by the Investigative Committee. Bringing her case to court, and then the process itself, can become a platform for exposing the new Ukrainian government. If by that time, of course, this topic will still be relevant.
