The deceased Boris Abramovich used that “a big business requires large sacrifices, but it is very difficult to always find idiots who agree to die for someone else's business. To resolve the issue, you have to use the highest matters. ”
The drama of Slavyansk is served exclusively under the "military-heroic" sauce, and in no other context is considered.
Suppose all this is true.
Recall the plot and the fact of what happened.
All the characters of the drama constantly swear something and talk exclusively about “honor”, “duty”, “people”, “stamina”, “sacrifice” and “holy Rus'”.
They hug hourly, knocking on helmets and interwoven with a mustache.
Having frustrated the mustache, they move on to the non-stop kissing of striped ribbons, banners and banners, and the rest of the time they shoot a little somewhere and swear “not to retreat”, “not to surrender” and “protect the people”.
The main character day after day lovingly grows on his stomach the largest holster in the world. On the final chords of the holster drama, it is already so great that it does not allow the hero to stand up to once again turn to the nation.
In general, it should be noted that both the main and secondary heroes are perfectly costume, and the mass is trained to die very effectively and fill both refrigerators and simple roadside jokes.
There is also a strong intrigue. Until the very end, it was not clear what exactly the heroes defended the city of Slavyansk for so long.
Everything turned out only in the final itself, when it finally became clear that they defended the city from four tons of sausages.
The end of the drama is marked by a monstrous, truly Shakespearean intensity.
Alas, evil triumphed.
The heroes who changed their minds to die fled, and Ukrainian trucks with sausages broke into the main square of the city.
The triumphant punishers distributed sausages to the population, simultaneously imposing bread, medicines and other horrors of civilization.
Curtain.
The sobbing of the hall.
The sausage drama of Slavyansk, of course, will go into world military history. Whether she will eclipse the glory of Austerlitz, Budennovsk and Borodino, is not yet known.
But for a bust of the charming Girkin in the pantheon of the heroes of the columnar, the town is guaranteed. Perhaps even at the feet of the statue of Shamil Basayev himself.
The general pathetics of the drama, of course, is slightly spoiled by the fact of the final biting of the heroes and their peculiar manner of fighting (hiding behind children's strollers, clinics, etc.), but historians will strain for the textbooks to “confuse” these nuances.
Another curiosity.
Voluntarily or involuntarily, but it is precisely the “Sawing Drama” that contains a truly ingenious recipe for the unpunished plunder of any city in the territory of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Moldova, et Cetera.
In the wave of fleeting “higher motives” of the impressionable population (now it is not uncommon), a group of people masters the city and all its business, banks and ATMs, vehicles, shops, printing houses, factories and a significant number of other material values.
All this is done under the pretext of his “protection” from anyone or from anything.
Not necessarily from sausages.
You can "protect" from the district or federal authorities, from NATO, from gays, zombies or from landing from the planet of monkeys.
The population of small towns is innocently and at first perceives protection as a magnificent entertainment that explodes provincial boredom.
The anti-people leadership (and it is always anti-people), when generally glee, is locked into some basement without "water, food and toilet."
The police are declared “corrupt” and “enemy”, disarmed and expelled to the hell, which is also easy in the presence of “folk moods” and the “defenders” of the proper level of pathos.
It is extremely important to the obsessive, inexorable rhetoric about the height of the goals, the “people”, the advancing “fascists-fireplace”, “duty” and “honor”, as well as compliance with all the necessary pathetic rituals. We should not forget about the daily and public kissing of the banners and the repetition of the oaths to “lie down with bones”, “fold your heads” or die in some other picturesque way.
The provincials, to whom even the regional “circus on stage” has not chopped ten years, feel like participants in a grand show and have been in euphoria for two weeks.
The success of the enterprise depends entirely on the ability to raising the most “high matters” that the deceased Boris Abramovich spoke of.
The scam requires, of course, some costs of the “human material”, but the “material” is striking on the pathos, as a rule, willingly provide itself in quite sufficient quantities to ensure complete freedom of action to the main actors.
As the experience of Slavyansk showed, compliance with all the rules of “protection” guarantees “defenders” for a couple of months of unusually comfortable robbery. (A pleasant bonus is also the ability to not deny yourself anything to information personal accounts.)
Having gutted the city, the heroes suddenly forget about the oaths and washed off, leaving the empty “skin” that was extended from the inside to the population and “punishers”.
And go to the next "object".
Probably in Slavyansk everything was wrong.
According to the generally accepted version, the defenders of the city were guided only by “the most exalted matters” and no motives, except for hatred of sausages, as well as “honor”, “faith” and the desire to “fold their heads”, they did not have.
Knowing the realities of life, it is extremely difficult to allow such sterility of motivation.
But still possible.
As Hawking said, "even a negligible probability is not zero."
So we will accept the military-heroic, sterile background of the drama from any self-interest as the main one and in no case will doubt it.
And this time too.
