Rusfont. Navigator - a new project on Fandraise Charitable Funds
Rusfont. Navigator is a project about funds that collect donations to execute their mission, organizing mass philanthropy. Such funds allow any person to become a charitable investor, where the benefit will not be financial benefit, but an improvement in the quality of life of a particular person or community of people.
The resource is based on the information base of the site of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation . Until 2013, 8783 charitable foundations were listed in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. Meanwhile, only 1567 funds published public reports on his website for 2012. Having deleted from them those funds that do not practice collecting donations, as well as funds with reports without statistics and without contacts, 410 fundraining funds were received.
The navigator offers a filter for the search for funds in areas of activity, geography and the results of fees-expenses per year.
In Russia, including government agencies, so far no one knows for sure the number of really working charitable foundations, and even more so the number of existing fundraising organizations. The task of the Rusfond-Navigator project is to give an idea of the scale of this work of funds-fansdraizers in the country, in certain regions and cities.
