The body of the leader of the Kushchevskaya gang, Sergei Tsapok, who received a life sentence for the murder of 2 people in the village of Kushchevskaya, Krasnodar Territory, was cremated in Volgograd, Interfax reports .
“The cremation was urgent. The body of Sergei Tsapok was brought to the crematorium by relatives,” the funeral services told the agency.
It is not yet known when and where the ashes of Tsapok will be buried. Earlier, the relatives of the victims of the actions of the man appealed to the regional prosecutor's office with a request not to bury Tsapok in the same cemetery with their victims.
Sergei Tsapok died in SIZO No. 1 of the Krasnodar Territory on July 7. According to an Interfax source in law enforcement agencies, the cause of Tsapok's death is acute heart failure caused by blockage of the pulmonary artery.
