The State Duma deputies control commission called information about the offshore property of the vice speaker Sergey Zheleznyak “Anonymous”. This was announced by an employee of the Corruption Fund Georgy Alburov on a personal blog .“The application received from you, in fact, is a report on the availability of certain information on the Internet <...> the link contained in your letter contained on the Internet on the merits sends us to anonymous information, which, on well -known reasons, cannot be adopted for consideration by the commission,” the chairman of the commission Nikolai Kovalev said in the letter. On May 15, Zheleznyak himself denied earlier reports that he owned a Dream Yacht Club, Moscow Region, through a Cyprus company. At the same time, he stated that the extracts from the Cyprus trading register presented earlier with Alburov, indicating that the deputy owned offshore, "built on false personal data in the printout of a paid foreign database." According to Alburov, Zheleznyak did not declare income from the sale of a share in Cyprus offshore. The opposition suggested that the parliamentarian earned from the sale of his share "at least 1.5 million dollars." According to information on the founders of legal entities presented on the site, the offshore company in Cyprus was the actual owner of the elite cottage village and the Dream Yacht Club in the Moscow Region. In this village, according to Alburov, Zheleznyak owned at least two houses.
