American company Cynk Technology Corp., which operates the social network Introbiz, has risen in price by 36,000% in less than two months. Its shares are traded on the over-the-counter OTC Market and were initially classified as Penny Stocks - securities whose value does not exceed $1.

When the company listed on the stock exchange on May 15, its shares were worth 6 cents. Yesterday, their quotes reached a maximum of $21.95, and the capitalization exceeded $6 billion - this is more than, for example, the company Sina, the operator of the Chinese microblogging network Weibo, notes the Financial Times (FT). But by the close of trading, Cynk Technology had lost almost a third - one share cost $13.9, the capitalization amounted to $4.051 billion, thus, by the close of trading, the growth from the first day of trading amounted to 22,000%.

Introbiz sells celebrity contact information for $50, with PayPal as payment. Introbiz has no members, no revenue, no assets, and only one employee, Marlon Sanchez, who is also the president, CEO, CFO, and the main shareholder, owning 72% of Cynk Technology, Bloomberg reports, citing a company report.

According to its November 2013 filing, the company posted a $1.5 billion loss in the first nine months of last year. Although, according to the FT, 78 people have already paid $50 for actor Leonardo DiCaprio's contact information. Business Insider, which examined the company's website in detail, noted numerous oddities, such as the fact that a couple of top accounts have no followers and that the "fitness guru" who costs $1,500 to contact seriously describes himself as an "experienced body sculptor."

The Introbiz.com website was registered in 2009 by Domains By Proxy, an Arizona-based company that guarantees privacy. Cynk Technology's filings also state that its office is based in room 400 of The Matalon in Belize, a Central American country. But The Matalon's secretary said there was no office with that number in the building, and he was unaware of a company called Cynk Technology.

"Most people who look at this social network think it's just crazy because it's a company with no revenue. The big question is: When is the SEC going to step in?" says Dave Lutz of Jonestrading Institutional Services.
