Appeal for the sentence to Boris Stomakhin

The complaint filed by the defense of the Politzek is considered by judges of the 2nd composition of the appeal (chairman - Alexei Marinenko). The beginning of the hearings at 10:00.

Stomakhin himself refused to participate in the meeting. The interests of the Politzek in court will be represented by lawyer Viktor Borodin and public defender Elena Sannikova. Earlier, another lawyer Stomakhin, Mikhail Trepashkin, said that the sentence of the publicist should be reduced in any case, since the sentence has expired from the date of the sentence for a number of episodes imputed to him.

On April 22, the deputy chairman of the Butyrsky district court of Moscow for criminal cases, Yuri Kovalevsky sentenced Stomakhin to six and a half years in a maximum regime under part 1 of article 205.2 (public justification of terrorism), part 1 of article 280 (public calls for extremism), part 1 of article 282 (excitement of hatred or hostility) and part 1 of Article 30, part 2 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code (preparation for public justification of terrorism using the media).

The reason for the incorporation was exclusively Stomakhin's articles, placed by him in 2011-2012 on the personal blog and on the website of the radical Libertarian opposition " Resistance ", as well as in the low-trip Bulletin " Radical Policy ".

Today, the publicist has been in prison for more than a year and a half - from November 20, 2012.

In 2006-2011, Stomakhin had already left for a five-year term under articles 280 and 282. At that time he was also convicted exclusively for his works. During the detention, Stomakhin tried to escape from the apartment through the window along the rope, but the rope broke and he received fractures of the legs and processes of two vertebrae. From the consequences of these injuries, Politzek has not yet recovered.

Meanwhile, on April 4, on the fact of publication in the Stomakhin texts, the FSB arose a third thing . By what article it is instituted is unknown; As it is assumed, this is an article 205.2 or 280. The case was opened on the denunciation of the uninterum deputy Alexander Sidyakin, who became interested in the appearance of new texts in the Blogs in the pre-trial detention center . In this case, Stomakhin is still passing as a witness.

On June 10, the investigator of the FSB in Moscow and the Moscow Region Maxim Veshkin, the leading case,fraudulently entered the Stomakhin’s apartment , where the mother of Politzek lives, and along with the operatives of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a search there. The security forces seized a laptop that, during a search in the previous case, did not attract law enforcement officers, as well as a pack of numbered sheets, named in the protocol "Stomakhin's Diary".

On the same day, the search was held in the Politzek cell in the Moscow pre-trial detention center 4 "Bear". The operative of a pre -trial detention center seized three notebooks with poetry and a notebook with records, addresses and phones.

On June 24, Stomakhin was delivered to Veshkin. The investigator said that the "diary", withdrawn from the apartment, as well as a notebook with phones and one of the notebooks with verses are recognized as evidence in the case. After that, he tried to interrogate the publicist, but he refused to answer any questions in the absence of a lawyer.
