In the anti -terrorist operation zone in the east of Ukraine, an attempt was committed on the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Arsen Avakov. This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the ministry.

Details of the incident are unknown. “You will learn everything tomorrow until we disclose the information,” the agency said.

Initially, on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine , an announcement of a briefing was published dedicated to the attempt. The journalists were supposed to speak to Avakov adviser Zoryan Shkiryak. Later, however, the announcement from the site was deleted.

After lunch on Wednesday, Gazeta.ru with reference to the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Larisa Volkov said that there were already detainees in the attempt case. “We will report the details tomorrow,” Volkova added.

As UNIAN reported , on Wednesday, Avakov arrived in Slavyansk along with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who inspects the course of restoration work in the city. In addition to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Yatsenyuk is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman and Minister of Infrastructure Maxim Burbak.
