The ECHR gave priority to the complaint of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko about the actions of Russia, who illegally holding the prisoner in the pre-trial detention center-3 Voronezh. On June 18, Savchenko was captured by the LPR terrorists at the village of Metalist of the Lugansk Region, when it went to pull the wounded from two broken armored personnel carriers. The militants accused her of the day earlier she adjusted the fire on their checkpoint. On July 8, it turned out that Savchenko was transported to the Voronezh pre -trial detention center . The next day, the pilot was charged under part 5 of Article 33, paragraphs “A”, “B”, “E”, “F” and “L” of part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (aiding in the murder in the generally hazardous method of two or more persons in connection with the implementation of their official activities based on political hatred, committed by a group of persons). At the same time, the press secretary of the TFR Vladimir Markin said that Savchenko was detained in Russia, after she crossed the border under the guise of refugees.

Then, on July 9, the Novousmansky district court of the Voronezh region arrested Savchenko until August 30.

A day later, the US Embassy in Moscow called on the Russian authorities to immediately free the pilot.

On Friday, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko promised to do everything for the liberation of Savchenko . On the same day, the Ukrainian Ombudsman Valery Lutkovskaya turned to Putin with a demand to take measures for the immediate liberation of Savchenko.

On the afternoon of Monday, the head of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin said that the Ukrainian consul was not allowed to Savchenko in jail . “This is a violation of all possible norms,” the minister noted.

In the evening of the same day, information appeared on the website of the President of Ukraine that the head of the administration of Vladimir Putin Sergey Ivanov promised to provide the Ukrainian consul access to the prisoner . Meanwhile, on the sites of the Kremlin and the pro -Kremlin Russian news agencies about such a promise, Ivanov was not reported.
