Israel introduced troops into the gas sector

Israel introduced the troops into the gas sector as part of the operation "indestructible rock". This was reported on Twitter of the Israeli Defense Army.

The country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed the armed forces to destroy the tunnels that are leading from Palestine to Israel. The decision was made after the Hamas group refused to observe the ceasefire and continued to launch missiles through the territory of Israel.

The operation “Inexhaustible rock” began on the night of July 8 as a response to the shelling of Israel and the abduction of its citizens. On July 15, an agreement between Jerusalem and Hamas on the ceasefire entered into force. Israel inflicted air strikes more than 1.7 thousand goals in the gas sector.

Since the beginning of the operation in Israel, one volunteer died, more than 200 people became victims of the conflict in Palestine.
