Terrorist commander: We had a Russian Buk

Alexander Khodakovsky, the commander of the Vostok militants battalion, confirmed that the terrorists had the Buk anti-aircraft missile system, from which, as the US intelligence services experts established, most likely shot down the Malaysian Boeing-777. The militant made his statement in an interview with Reuters.

Thus, Khodakovsky was the first of the terrorists after the crash of the liner that the militants had a "beech". Before the Boeing catastrophe, terrorists reported the seizure of the "bean" of the Ukrainian army, but after the shelling of the liner they began to insist that they did not have these air defense systems.

The commander of the East emphasized that his battalion had no "bean". Nevertheless, he added, these air defense systems could be used by other groups.

At the same time, Khodakovsky did not rule out that Buk could be brought from Russia. He noticed that earlier terrorists really captured four Ukrainian "beech", but they all turned out to be faulty. Meanwhile, the commander of the East added, he knows about Buka, who was sent to the “DPR” from Lugansk. “At that moment, they told me that“ Buk ”from Lugansk is under the flag of“ LPR, ”said the terrorist.

Nevertheless, Khodakovsky did not give a definite answer to the question of whether this air defense system was Russian. “I'm not talking about what Russia supplies or does not supply Russia,” he said now, ”he said.“ Russia could put this “beech” under some completely local tasks. ”

The terrorist also stated that after the disaster of the Buk aircraft, most likely, he was returned to Russia, "in order to remove evidence of the presence."

As it became known earlier on Wednesday, the American special services concluded that the terrorists shot down Boeing, most likely by mistake, taking it for the Ukrainian military transport aircraft. Experts also suggested that the error could be caused by poor training of operators and the absence of other radar systems.

In addition, American experts added, they do not have direct evidence of the participation of the Russian military in the shelling of the liner and in the training of terrorists who shot down it.

Later it turned out that on Monday , the same statement was made by the Ambassador of Russia to the UN Vitaly Churkin . “People from the east said that they had shot down a military aircraft,” said the official. “If they thought that they were shot down by a military aircraft, they were mistaken. And if they were mistaken, then not an act of terrorism.”

Meanwhile, the head of the main operational department of the Russian General Staff , Lieutenant General Andrei Kartapolov, on Monday, claimed that the Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft flew after Boeing.
