Of all the Soviet military leaders, it was this one who was able to look like an intellectual who was able to inspire confidence - so he was sent to puff for everyone else. In addition, the rest were favorites of the Brezhnev defense minister Dmitry Ustinov, and this, proving the meaninglessness of the invasion of Afghanistan, did not cause enthusiasm. And as a result, the crime was crumbling at the card, the pointer trembled: flew there, flew here ...

And yet it was a real marshal, let it and Soviet. Who fought in the Great Patriotic War and pulled a strap in the military districts. Commanding the exercises and participating in negotiations with the Americans to limit weapons. Not afraid of either Brezhnev or Ustinov. I still remember him at one of the perestroika congresses - a half -turn to me, the chest in the orders, and the real ones, face to some other military leader: "Vote for Gorbachev? Mumly! Better Yeltsin!"

The Antonov, who was putting on someone else's form, seems to be reveling in his role as a liar, raising “inconvenient” questions to Ukrainian colleagues and “exciting” the authorities from a possible investigation in the West. And he doesn’t care that in the West they do not put that casuistry from which his face is blurred in a satisfied smile. Because the authorities will appreciate - and under the current conditions this is the main thing.

And yet why do they have all the real one? President from the FSB, Minister of Defense from Emergencies, his Boeing Deputy from the Foreign Ministry - which does not prevent the head of state from feeling like Napoleon, but to the minister and his deputy to flaunt uniforms in front of viewers. And, probably, many believe that Antonov was a military personnel and understands what he is talking about. The fact that this is just another diplomatic werewolf, which leads a shadow on a wicker in a very obvious situation for the whole world, no one simply understands. Yes, and it doesn’t matter. In Russia today, any rogue can become Napoleon, Marshal Zhukov, Prime Minister of the DPR or the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Brave militias, tearing the stomachs of corpses. This is the concept of this new world of squalor, mistakenly called the Russian world.
