
The Office of the Investigative Committee for the North-Western Federal District opened a case on the payment of huge bonuses to the heads of the abolished district headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was reported on the website of the Investigative Department. The case was opened under part 2 of Article 292 of the Criminal Code (official forgery, which entailed a significant violation of the interests of society and the state protected by law), which provides for the four years of the colony.
The pre -investigation verification on the fact of payments was carried out on the basis of materials transferred on June 24 to the TFR by the operatives of the economic security service of the Federal Security Service of the Federal Security Service for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. It was reported that the city administration of the Investigative Department is engaged in the verification; Meanwhile, the matter was opened by a higher, district, head.
On May 5, Vladimir Putin eliminated the Ministry of Internal Affairs in all federal districts , except for the North Caucasus. Officials of departments were transferred to lower heads of the ministry.
Three days after this, on May 8, the head of the police department at the North-West Medical University, Major General Vitaly Bykov issued three orders dated March 14, March 31 and April 28. According to these papers, 18 heads of the headquarters received prizes in the amount of 750 thousand rubles, and 14 of their subordinates - in the amount of 400 thousand rubles each. Thus, all the money remaining on the control balance after disbandment was used up - 19 million 100 thousand rubles.
There are no suspects in the case yet. TFR claims to be engaged in establishing them.
