The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bashkiria will pay a million rubles to the children of a teacher killed by a drunken policeman

The Bashkiriy Supreme Court College ordered the Department of Neuded -Hospital Protection of the Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs to pay 500 thousand rubles to two children Albert Mukhametzakirov, a Russian language teacher from Ufa, shot down by a drunken policeman Vladislav Simukhin from a table pistol. This was reported by the committee against torture. The defendant’s appeal was rejected, and the decision of the Kirovsky district court of Ufa on May 6 entered into legal force.

Earlier, on December 3, 2013, the Supreme Court of Bashkiria upheld the decision on the lawsuit of the widow of Mukhametzakirov - Tatyana Ivanova. The Kirovsky District Court ordered the Department of Neuded -Activities to pay it 800 thousand rubles.

PPP lawyers, representing the interests of the plaintiffs, managed to prove in the processes that if shooting from a service pistol is an activity that is an increased danger to others, the owner of the weapon should be responsible for the damage caused by this activity.

As established by a public investigation conducted by human rights activists, on May 1, 2010, a drunken Simukhin, entering the duty, received a Makarov’s service gun. Nevertheless, he never started work, but continued to get drunk. On May 2, at about 13:40, the policeman, being very drunk, stopped Mukhametzakirov’s car and asked him to bring him to another Ufa district. Simukhin paid money as soon as he got into the car.

However, during the trip between the driver and the passenger, the quarrel began, and during her Simukhin shot Mukhametzakirov in the head. The victim died on the spot; The criminal disappeared.

May 7, 2010 Simukhin surrendered and wrote a confession. During the trial, held in the Kirovsky District Court, the policeman claimed to be shot at the teacher through negligence. Nevertheless, the court took the side of the victims and sentenced Simukhin to 10 years in a maximum regime under part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder).
