The prize -winner of the Cannes Festival, the film by Andrei Zvyagintsev “Leviathan” in September will be demonstrated in Moscow for a week, and will be released at the beginning of 2015.

The film "Leviathan" tells about the resident of the town on the shores of the Barents Sea, which entered the fight against corrupt representatives of state bodies. In May, Leviathan received a prize for the best script at the Cannes festival.

There were concerns that the film could not go to Russian rental if he did not receive a rental certificate until July 1, when the law prohibiting the mat in the cinema began to operate. Nevertheless, Leviathan managed to receive a rental certificate (with an age limit “18+”).
