A group of “Orthodox activists” from the public movement “God's will” turned to the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office. They demand to cancel the concert of the American metal group Slayer in Moscow.
“One of the most famous Satanic groups in the world” was called Metallists by the leader of “God's will” Dmitry Tsorionov, reports Gazeta.ru .
According to activists, in the songs of Slayer “the religious feelings of Christians are offended, there is a mocking of Christian shrines, and Nazism and fascism are openly promoted” and the calls “for direct worship of the devil, suicide, rape and necrophilia” are contained.
In a statement to the Prosecutor General’s Office, God's Activists asked the agency to prevent concerts of the Slayer group, as well as to prosecute the organizer of concerts of Sergei Melnikov, the general director of the Mill Concert Agency, under Art. 148 h. 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (insulting religious feelings of believers).
Slayer concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg were scheduled, respectively, on August 4 and 5.
