Investigators began to verify the activities of one of the largest construction companies in Russia Mostovik, which is suspected of paying taxes worth more than 1 billion rubles, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Omsk Region reports .

The audit was initiated at the request of the inter -district inspection of the Federal Tax Service for the largest taxpayers in the Omsk region. During an on -site audit, she previously established the fact of tax failure to the budget, the report said.

In early April, Mostovik filed a bankruptcy application. Shortly before this, Sberbank appealed to the court demanding to recover a debt of 18.8 billion rubles from the company and its co -owners. Other creditors - Alfa -Bank and Gazprombank also applied for claims for the collection of debts from the “Mostovik”.

The problems of the “Mostovik”, which was one of the contractors of the Olympic objects in Sochi, began after Olympstroy refused to pay for one of the Olympic contracts by about 3 billion rubles.

The Mostovik built and reconstructed three stations in Sochi, was a contractor of several sports facilities in the Imereti lowland, including a Kerling Arena, and a large ice arena for hockey with a puck. In total, in Sochi, Mostovik mastered contracts for 69 billion rubles.
