© moskvichi.name Rostov HouseThe Department of Culture of Moscow is considering the project "Literary presence". Its authors, employees of the Moscow City Library Center (MGBC), will indicate with signs and signs of more than 500 places related to the works of Russian literature.
“Methods of labeling will be heterogeneous - silhouettes of writers and artistic characters on the walls of houses, volumetric figures, signs, painting, signs with texts. -Pro-books.ru quotes the press secretary of the MGBC Anna Lander. - Elements that will be placed on buildings should be made of modern persistent materials with the possibility of infectious removal. Experts, historians and local historians will be engaged in the selection of places of "literary presence".
Some places in which marks will appear: where, supposedly, Gerasim drowned Mumu (in the area of Neskuchny Garden); In the place where the Famusov’s house was located, in which the action “grief from the mind” takes place (Pushkinskaya Square 3), at the Rostov House, where Pierre Bezukhov and Natasha Rostov from the “War and the World” met (Povarskaya, 52).
The marked literary places will be applied to a special book card, where they will also designate the location of libraries, bookstores, book shops at museums, libraries and institutes, bookcrow points in parks and bukinistic collapse in the streets.
The literary card will be distributed free of charge in public and cultural institutions. The authors of the project expect that it will make Moscow’s book places with sights and include them in popular tourist routes.
