On the network collect signatures for unlock Deviantart in Russia

About two thousand signatures collected an online pattern demanding to unlock the art social network Deviantart, which was blocked by Roskomnadzor, who took part of the images posted there for children's pornography.

The collection of signatures under the appeal with the requirement to unlock Deviantart is carried out on the website Change.org .

The reason for the blocking was 12 illustrations and two galleries posted by the authors and users of the site, Lookatme reports. Roskomnadzor probably regarded them as illustrations in the Hentai genre, which is equated with a department with children's pornography.

Earlier, Roskomnadzor demanded to block the website of the Hentai Empire. Then the representatives of the department recalled that "unlike Western and Japanese law enforcement practice, in Russia, drawn images of the Hentai genre, aimed at stimulating sexual interest in children and adolescents, are unambiguously qualified by experts as children's pornography."

According to the RoskomSvoboda project, the Deviantart website is blocked by Beeline and Rostelecom providers. According to Beeline, 12 pages of the site were included in the register of prohibited sites by decision of Roskomnadzor of July 15, 2014, two by decision of Rospotrebnadzor on February 27, 2013. For subscribers of some providers, the site is still opening. There is no Deviantart resource in the Unified Register of prohibited sites of Roskomnadzor.
