
The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev will approve the list of agricultural products, raw materials and food prohibited for import into Russia, August 7, Gazeta.ru reports with reference to the press secretary of the head of government Natalia Timakova.
Previously, Timakova said that the government is already working on the preparation of this list, which will be approved by government decree.
Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree “On the application of individual special economic measures in order to ensure the security of the Russian Federation”. The document prohibits or limits the import of agricultural products, raw materials and food from countries from countries that have decided to introduce economic sanctions against Russia or have joined such a decision.
