The TFR refused to resume the investigation on the death of the auditor of the Hermitage Capital Foundation Sergei Magnitsky. This was reported to the "faces" in the press service of the fund.
The letter, signed by the head of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Crimes against State Power and in the economy of D. Kolesnikov, aimed in response to the complaint of the mother of the deceased Natalia Magnitskaya, it is said that "there are no grounds for canceling the decision to terminate the criminal case." At the same time, the paper does not contain any specific justifications of the refusal to resume the investigation, as well as conduct an independent medical study of the internal organs and tissues of the deceased.
In her complaint, Magnitskaya pointed out the actual sabotage by investigator A. Strigzhov of the necessary measures. So, she said, Strizhov never interrogated the senior officials involved in the death of her son, including the deputy prospect of Viktor Grin, as well as the FSB officer A. Laguntsov, whose fake report was arrested by Magnitsky. Strizhov did not prescribe a medical study, although traces of violence were discovered on the body of the deceased, and the conclusions of forensic experts were based on false and mutually exclusive data.
“Preliminary investigation ... was used by the investigation to create the visibility of the investigation of the causes of the death of an innocent person who was detained exclusively from a sense of revenge,” Magnitskaya said.
According to Hermitage Capital, Kolesnikov, by his refusal, ignored the conclusions of an independent international investigation, which was presented by the Council of Europe by the deputy of the Switzerland Parliament Andreas Gross. The position of the Russian authorities, which did not investigate the circumstances of the arrest and death of the lawyer, nor the facts of corruption and covering of crimes, opened by the deceased, the author of the document called the document unacceptable.
