A new business was opened against the former Novosibirsk Governor Yurchenko

The Office of the Investigative Committee for the Siberian Federal District opened a new case against the former Novosibirsk governor Vasily Yurchenko. This was reported on the website of the Investigative Department. The case was opened under part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code (exceeding official powers by a person holding the state position of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation), which provides for up to seven years of the colony.

According to the department, in 2010, Yurchenko, who was then the first vice-governor of the region, ordered to cancel the auction for the sale of a land plot with an unfinished building in Novosibirsk. The owner of this real estate was the company "Gaztransky", 100 percent of the shares of which belong to the region. At the same time, the official instructed to sell the object to the company "Tactics" at the price they proposed that did not exceed 20 million rubles.

“As a result,” the TFR notes, “the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities were significantly violated due to their restrictions on their right to participate in the auction and the acquisition of this object, the constitutional rights of citizens to freely use their abilities and property for entrepreneurial and other Economic activity, which were not prohibited by law, and also caused significant harm to Gaztransky OJSC.

Along with this, the department also says, the regional budget did not receive about 18 million rubles of income due to an unreasonable decrease in the value of the Gaztranskoma shares.

In mid -May, the case was opened against Yurchenko under Article 293 of the Criminal Code (negligence). The case was opened on the fact of signing an order by an order to transfer a certain plot of land from industrial lands to agricultural land.

However, a few days later it became known that the prosecutor of the Novosibirsk region Evgeny Ovchinnikov canceled the decision on initiating the case . "The prosecutor's office believes that the investigation did not have sufficient data indicating the presence of signs of the corpus delicti," this step explained in the supervisory department. Meanwhile, the statute of limitations in this case in any case expired on May 21.

On March 18, Vladimir Putin removed Yurchenko from his post with the wording "due to the loss of trust." The next day, searches were held at the house and at the former workplace of the official. They were carried out just in the framework of the investigation, begun on the fact of the sale of real estate "Gaztranskoma".
