Honestly, I saw the other day: they slowed down. A temporary turn to Comrade Brezhnev.

In the Stalinist camps, the personal life of those who fell into these millstones was canceled - because today in Russia there are much fewer descendants of prisoners than the descendants of the Chekists (although they also exterminated each other actively). “They are not allowed with anyone with anyone: neither with his wife, nor with his sister, nor with his mother” - from the story “Decembrist” of a wonderful and still few well -known writer, Kolyma, George Demidov. A student in love with a professor is going to look for him on Kolyma. To only see.

Here is not so. Politzka Alexei Gaskarov was allowed to marry directly in the politicalizolet - no, excuse me, in a pre -trial detention center. And even gave a 15-minute date with the bride! "Vegetarian time", as Anna Akhmatova used to say. Admire on Facebook on a shining Anna - a young wife. Around on the street - congratulators with flowers. And no one, in my opinion, was taken away. The previous meeting of the newlyweds was last year - Alexei spent past Anna in the courtroom in handcuffs.

I immediately remembered the story of our classmates of Arina Ginzburg with Alexander Pavlovich Chudakov (in the university years - Irki Tarakhtunova, then not for long - Zholkovskaya).

Alexander Ginzburg was arrested in 1967 (and gave a second term)-five days before their wedding with Arina. And in 1968 they refused to marry the zone. He held a hunger strike - and comrades in the zone were starving with his solidarity: “Forest Brothers” - Ukrainians, Lithuanians, Latvians. Arina fought in the wild. Allowed. She arrived at Potminsky camps. The newlyweds were given two days of the honeymoon. The whole camp gathered behind the walls of the “House of Dear”, shouted - “Bitter!” ... Ira ridiculously told me many years later that when she left, the guards said: “They drank all night for you. In a woman !! Not that ours ... ”And they added something bad.

Alik finished the last word in court like this: “I know that you will condemn me, because not a single person accused under article 70 has been justified. <...> I ask the court about one thing: give me a term no less than Galanskov. (In the hall, laughter, cries: “More, more!”) ”.

It was a long time. But it seems - these are the laughter and cries of my current fellow citizens. Sociologists assure that today there are almost about 90 %of them in my country.
