The HRC offers to pay for the Russians for the placement of refugees from Ukraine

The Presidential Council for Human Rights proposed to pay monthly Russian families who placed refugees from Eastern Ukraine, 9 thousand rubles. This was reported by Kommersant with reference to Evgeny Bobrov, a member of the Strap -on Continuing Polish Commission on Migration Policy and the Protection of Human Rights in the Field of Interethnic Relations.

The document with the proposals of the HRC will be considered on Thursday at a special meeting of the Council and sent to the relevant departments, and then to Vladimir Putin in the form of a report.

The amount of compensation for the placement of refugees can be allocated from 3.5 billion rubles, which the government in July transferred the Ministry of Regional Development to the forced immigrants. They were stacked strictly for the improvement of the points of temporary placement of refugees, but recently the FMS announced the intention to eliminate these points by September 1. How to redistribute this money for other needs, the Ministry of Regional Development is not yet understood.

A similar idea was previously expressed in the government of the Stavropol Territory - there they also consider the possibility of compensation to citizens for placing refugees.

The document prepared by the HRC Commission included another proposal - to automatically issue forced immigrants permission to work at the stage of applying for a refugee status in the FMS. Also, to each applicant, refugee status members of the Council offer to issue a residence permit. “Most of these people have numerous relatives here, they already go to Russia quite often, so they can get a residence permit immediately, and then convey the necessary documents at the place of stay,” Bobrov explained.

The need for the proposed measures, noticed a member of the HRC, dictated by the "unsatisfactory work of departments" responsible for the placement of forced immigrants, primarily the FMS. In addition, Bobrov announced the slowness of Russian legislation, which does not allow refugees to freely choose a place of residence and work.

The FMS refused to comment on the initiative of the HRP, promising to give their review directly during the meeting of the Council.

Earlier, the head of the FMS Konstantin Romodanovsky stated that there are about 500 thousand refugees from Eastern Ukraine in Russia in Russia. They live either in the apartments of volunteers, or at temporary accommodation points, the official claimed.
