According to OVD-Info journalist Maxim Sobesky, activist Mikhail Pulin, one of the organizers of the March for the federalization of Siberia, which the administration of Novosibirsk refused to approve, was detained in the Troitsky district of the Altai Territory, a hundred kilometers from Barnaul. This happened at the traffic police post, at the moment they are inspecting the things of Pulin and his wife Maria Katynskaya.
Journalist and civic activist Roman Popkov writes on Facebook according to Pulin that he and Katynskaya were detained because they “fit a target for theft.” Popkov later wrote that, according to Pulin, a “stolen phone” was planted on him during the inspection of things, and he believes that everything is going to the initiation of a criminal case.
As previously reported, on the night of August 15, Maksim Sobiesky himself was detained on the road in the Altai Territory and kept for several hours in the Talmensky district police department. There, in particular, he was asked about Pulin, they said that he was ruining Russia with the money of the US State Department.
