Human rights activist detained in Krasnodar

Semyon Simonov, a human rights activist from Sochi, an employee of the Migration and Law network of the Memorial Human Rights Center, was detained in Krasnodar. As reported on the Facebook page of the Rapid Response Center, he was detained on the train at the Krasnodar-1 railway station. The criminal investigation officers asked Simonov to go with them. When Simonov was asked if he had been detained, the officers answered in the negative, but then they grabbed him by the hands and by the bag, and also called for help from a police squad standing nearby, after which the human rights activist had to proceed to the linear police department at the station. There he was asked to write an explanatory note, saying that there was an orientation that Simonov was a witness to the theft that occurred at the Starominskaya station. Simonov said that the train on which he followed did not pass this station. They didn't show him directions. After that, Simonov wrote an explanatory note, where he described his detention. They didn't give him a copy, so Simonov took the original and left.
