On August 12, about 30 people were detained on the march of memory and sorrows dedicated to the events in Ukraine, not agreed with the Moscow authorities and therefore held in the format of the national gathering: people gathered on Pushkinskaya Square and went to the building of the Embassy of Ukraine. Six people were left for the night at night: three women in the Presnensky police department (Irina Kalmykova, Olga Kournosova and Ekaterina Maldon) and three men in the Hamovniki police department (Ildar Dadin, Sergey Zakharov and Pavel Silkov). At the same time, no charges were brought to the Presnensky AFD, protocols were drawn up against them. Ekaterina Maldon is a member of the election commission with a ruling vote, in connection with which any procedural actions in relation to her could only be committed with the sanction of the prosecutor, but this did not embarrass the police officers.
This time, the violence for the detainees was used by employees of both the police department, and only one person suffered in each, but very much. Ildar Dadin, who was already beaten in less than a week before, was still in the car carrier, and in the police department he was not only placed in the administratively detained chamber (KAZ, it is a “monkey”) and was handcuffed, but also tied with tape . For the first time, the OVD-Info has been faced with such an appeal for the first time.
Ekaterina Maldon collided with force twice. Once on the night of August 13: as she said , this happened when she and Kalmykova wrote explanations about how they were detained and tried to leave the department. According to Maldon, she tried to go through the half -open gates, but then employees flew into her and broke her hand, so she felt severe pain and did not exclude a fracture. Later, the ambulance arrived, Maldon was bandaged, but then the health workers were expelled from the police department. Nevertheless, then the detainee was sent to an X -ray, which did not reveal a fracture, and returned to the police department. They did not give women to lie down, they sat on chairs and spent the night without sleep.
The next morning, according to Maldon, they and Kalmykova began to be invited “to some cabinets” to the police department, but they refused to, demanding that they were immediately taken to court. After that, they were pushed into Kaz and Maldon were greatly beaten. Around this time, defender Alexei Domnikov arrived in the ATS, who was not allowed to the detainees. Later, already in the afternoon, Maldon, Kalmykov and Kournosov was taken to the Presnensky district court, where Dadin, Silkov and Zakharov were already located. Moreover, if at first, in court, police officers stated that the meeting would not begin until all the detainees were brought, then by the evening it became known that the meeting was transferred to August 14.
Since Maldon felt very badly after everything transferred to the police department, the defender Alexei Domnikov called her an ambulance, which they waited in the lobby after, already the official closure of the court. The ambulance officers proposed to take Maldon to the emergency room, but the police captain Andrei Zolotukhin from the Presnensky ATS, who had not yet let Domnikov to the detainees opposed this. Domnikov took out a mobile phone and demanded that Zolotukhin present documentary evidence that Maldon was detained (until then no one had presented such documents). In response, Zolotukhin called the bailiffs who led Domnikov to his premises to arrange a violation of the rules of conduct in court, in particular, video. Domnikov explained that, firstly, he actually did not manage to start shooting, and secondly, he acted in a situation of extreme necessity, since he had “real fears for the life and health of the client” (such an extreme need is provided for in the Code of Administrative Offenses), therefore he “recorded the violation of the law and the actually illegal actions of the police”. Meanwhile, the activist Alla Frolova, who was in the lobby of the court, called another ambulance outfit, and in the end it was possible to ensure that Maldon would be taken to the emergency room and then put to the Botkin hospital. In the reception of the Botkin hospital, the telephone message was sent to the police that Maldydon, in her words, was beaten by police.
In Maldon, a fracture of the nose without displacement was found, traumatic brain injury, a concussion, multiple bruises and stretching of ligaments on the arm-quite a lot of injuries for one detention.
On August 14, when Maldon was in the hospital, Captain Zolotukhin appeared to her, who, according to Domnikov, put pressure on her: “Hang over it” and demanded that she write an explanation regarding the story of beating into the police department. As Maldon herself says, he tried to "get some necessary testimonies under the noise." Domnikov, who appeared five minutes after Zolotukhin, did not let him do it. Maldon herself eventually stated that she would not communicate with a police officer without a defender. The defender accused the policeman of pressing his client and preventing them from agreeing on a position, and the policeman accused the defender of telling Maldon, imposing his position to her. At the same time, both took each other on the phone . As a result, according to Maldon, the guards of the hospital withdrew the policeman from the territory of the department.
Currently, Maldon has returned from the hospital home, although she was offered to stay there for eight days. Together with Domnikov, they draw up an application to the Investigative Committee in order to bring the police officers to criminal liability.
PS Sergey Zakharov was released on the evening of August 13. On August 14, the consideration of the case of Olga Kurnosova was postponed at the place of residence, to St. Petersburg. Irina Kalmykova was sentenced to fines - 500 rubles under an article on disobedience to the legal request of police officers and 20 thousand rubles under an article on violation of the rules of a mass event. The consideration of the cases of Ildar Dadin and Pavel Shelkov was postponed to August 21. Everyone was released from custody.
