1984. Conviction of Elena Bonner

30 years ago, on August 17, 1984, the wife of academician Andrei Sakharov Elena Bonner was sentenced by the Gorky Regional Court to 5 years in Gorky for "slanderous fabrications" at the address of the Soviet state.
