The British electrician Aphex Twin announced the release of his first in the last 13 years of the album in an anonymous Tor network.
It is arranged according to the principle of the so -called onion routing, which allows to encrypt data on connections inside the network and thereby ensure their anonymity.
According toPitchFork , on Monday, Aphex Twin posted on his twitter a network address, which works only in the Tor browser. The link is an image with the Aphex Twin logo, as well as a tracklist of 12 compositions. The new album will be called Syro .
The same information, with the exception of the name of the album and tracks, is also available at the link that opens with an ordinary browser.
The previous album Aphex Twin , Drukqs , was released in 2001. The new plans of the musician became known the other day when a green airship with the inscription “2014” and the Aphex Twin logo instead of zero were seen above the center of London, and graffiti with the same logo appeared near the Radio City Music Hall in New York.
