The humanitarian convoy banned intermediate stops in Ukraine

The motorcade with humanitarian aid will not dwell on the destination in the territory of Ukraine. This was announced by Interfax with reference to the statement of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

“On Wednesday, employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) were instructed by drivers of the humanitarian cargo of Russia in a security auto -racer. Only one driver should be in the cabin of each car, stopping is prohibited along the route, and medical support is also provided for the column if necessary for first aid, ”the Russian Ministry of Emergencies said.

It is also known that the ICRC cars will accompany the column of cars with special flags. The first 16 trucks with humanitarian aid will go to the territory of Ukraine, presumably today, after the coordination of all the necessary procedures. As of August 21, 7:00 Moscow time, the humanitarian column with the cargo remained at the checkpoint "Donetsk", not a single car was designed to cross the border.

Earlier, on August 20, the Ukrainian Customs Service missed the Russian humanitarian convoy of cars at the checkpoint.

On August 15, reports were received that the Ukrainian side began the coordination of procedures for the intersection of the Russian humanitarian load of the territory of Ukraine. On the same day, journalists of Russian and international media conducted an inspection of the humanitarian cargo. Based on the results of the audit inside the trucks, various cereals, baby food, drinking water and portable diesel generators were discovered. The Slon correspondent also said that the cars were filled with food on average by two -thirds.

On August 12, a convoy of 280 Kamazov left the Moscow Region in the direction of the border zone with Ukraine. The Russian side said that humanitarian aid includes 400 tons of cereals, 100 tons of sugar, 62 tons of baby food, 54 tons of medical property and drugs, 12 thousand sleeping bags and 69 power plants of various capacities.
