In early August , the Crypto Install Fest 2014 conference was held in Moscow - a practical conference during which the encryption specialists, lawyers and technical specialists considered issues regarding censorship, security on the network, and free software.
Among the projects presented at the Crypto Install Fest 2014, there was a Blockcheck project - a program to check what type of site blocking your provider uses.
Blockcheck was developed by Valdikss and is a script that determines the type of blocking from your provider and sending the author to statistics.
BlockCheck serves to determine the type of blocking of sites from a single register of prohibited information on the side of the provider.
This utility allows you to determine:
replacement of DNS answers;
redirection of DNS servers;
blocking DNS servers;
"Ordinary" DPI (URL filtering on certain IP addresses and ports);
"Full" DPI (URL filtering on all IP addresses and/or ports);
IP address blocking.
Also, the application automatically sends statistics about the type of lock used on the server.
