
The first Russian KamAZs from the humanitarian convoy, who arrived in Lugansk on the eve of the separatists, left Ukrainian territory and are now located on the Russian Donetsk checkpoint. It is reported by RIA "Novosti" . The Interfax agency, citing the South Customs Administration, reports that after the audit the first seven trucks drove into the territory of Russia - they were issued in twenty minutes. Customs representative Rayan Fakukshin hopes that "if there are no incidents", then the whole column will be applied until the end of the day. At about 11 in the morning, he said that the first part of the column - 34 cars drove into Russia. There are six such groups in total.
According to the correspondents of Russian agencies, on Saturday morning, several dozen trucks left the Ukrainian checkpoint of Izvarino and stopped at the Russian Donetsk checkpoint for verification and design. Whether the cars that have left the territory of Ukraine are not being taken yet.
The unilateral actions of Russia, which led to the fact that the convoy did not accompany the Red Cross officers, were convicted by the leaders of the United States, Germany, members of the UN Security Council and the Secretary General of NATO. Russian agencies insist that the convoy was delivered along a safe route - bypassing the village where, as the RIA source "dug in the National Guard of Ukraine" said. The Lifenews channel considered that the convoy made a hook of 170 km for the sake of security.
Trucks with Russian humans arrived at the border of Ukraine on August 14, but their customs clearance began only on August 21. On Friday, the column crossed the border through the Izvarino checkpoint, controlled by the separatists, and arrived in Lugansk. The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine called this "violation of international norms" and called on international partners to condemn Russia. The OSCE said that experts examined only 37 trucks out of two hundred who entered the Lugansk region.
The Lugansk media published a gallery captured by the passage of a humanitarian convoy along the streets of the city. Lifenews reports that the distribution of assistance to those in need should begin on Saturday.
The Russian Foreign Ministry believe that all prepositions to delay the delivery of assistance to people in the humanitarian disaster are exhausted. According to the Russian foreign policy, the mission was prepared "in an environment of complete transparency and in interaction with the Ukrainian side and the Red Cross." The Chancellor of Germany Merkel, who spoke on Saturday night not only with Putin, but also with President Poroshenko, spoke for unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians. At the same time, she emphasized: "This should still relate to Ukrainian assistance, which the separatists previously blocked." During a visit to Kyiv on Saturday, the Chancellor will meet with President Poroshenko and Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
