Zakharov and Kuznetsov became European champions in jumping from a three -meter springboard

Russian athletes Ilya Zakharov and Evgeny Kuznetsov won gold medals in synchronous jumps in water from a three -meter springboard at the European Championship in Water Sports, which takes place in Berlin.

The Russian duet defended the European Champions title, obtained two years ago, gaining 464.64 points in the sum of six attempts.

The seconds were the Germans Patrick Hausding and Stefan Fek, bronze awards among Ukrainians Alexander Gorshvozov and Ilya Kvasha.

Thanks to the victory of Zakharov and Kuznetsov, the Russian national team retained the leadership in the team standings with seven gold, six silver and three bronze medals. The second place is occupied by the British (6-5-7), the third-Italians (6-2-10).
