
The election headquarters of the leader of the Abkhaz opposition Raul Hadjimby states that he wins the first round in the election of the President of Abkhazia, ITAR-TASS reports.
According to the head of the campaign headquarters, Arthur Mikvabia, Khadimba gained about 60% of the votes. He explained that these data are based on observers from the candidate from polling stations. “Until the calculation of data from all areas has been completed, but we can talk about our confident leadership,” added Mikvabia.
Hadjimba himself has already stated the victory. “According to our data, which are from the precinct commissions, they indicate that the results are still in our favor,” Interfax quotes him.
Khadimba also said that he was ready to invite other candidates to his team to the post of head of the republic. “The main task today is to unite our society. We are one family, and we have only goals,” Hadjimba told the agency on Sunday evening.
He also emphasized that he was ready to invite other candidates for the president of the country to his team. "All those who are ready to work for the benefit of Abkhazia will work with me," Hadjimba said.
Meanwhile, it became known that the headquarters of Aslan Bzhanya, one of the candidates in the presidential election, confirmed the leadership of Khadimby. Bzhanya is the main competitor of Hadjima in the struggle for the post of head of state.
“We are still waiting for the results on Gagra and Sukhum, but, according to reports, Hadjimba is the leader,” said Leonid Lakebay's head of Aslan Bzhanya. He added that the election violations were, "but not those that can allow the results."
At the same time, the CEC of the republic has not yet possessed data, which was stated by the chairman of the Central Election Commission of Batal Tabagua.
Hadjimba noted that people celebrate the result that came from the precinct commissions.

In turn, Tabagua noted that the data from the precinct commissions have not yet been received, and preliminary information about the results will be known later.
"We come only from those documents that we will receive from district commissions. But the offices of candidates receive information faster, since their representatives (observers) have protocols on their hands," said the Chairman of the CEC.
Also, according to him, the appearance of voters in the election of the President of Abkhazia amounted to about 70%.
The first preliminary data of the CEC of Abkhazia promises to announce on August 25 at 12:00 in Moscow.
The early elections of the head of state are held in connection with the resignation at the request of the opposition of the former President Alexander Ankvab. The post of head of state claims to be The Head of the Security Service Aslan Bzhania, the leader of the opposition, ex-Prime Minister Raul Hadjimba, acting Minister of Defense of Mirab Kishmaria and ex-head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Leonid Dzndshba.
