Lawyer: Savchenko was captured before the death of Russian journalists

The Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko was captured in Lugansk before the death of Russian journalists, her lawyer Mark Feigin wrote on Twitter.

On August 27, the Voronezh District Court will consider the extension of the arrest of Savchenko, the term of which expires on August 30.

The Ukrainian authorities and Savchenko themselves claim that the separatists who captured her transferred the pilot to the Russian authorities.
