The Ostankino court of Moscow satisfied the lawsuit to protect the honor, dignity and business reputation of the President of Rosneft Igor Sechin to the Vedomosti newspaper and its employee. According to the court decision, the newspaper Vedomosti is obliged to publish a refutation of the information contained in the author’s column of journalist Kirill Kharatyan “Man of the Week: Igor Sechin”, in which he discusses the influence of the head of Rosneft on the Russian economy.

According to Interfax , the plaintiff considered that a number of statements in the article are incorrect. He asked the court to recognize them not true, discrediting his honor, dignity and business reputation and oblige the defendants to publish a refutation. Representatives of the defendants told the court that there was no inaccurate information in the newspaper column, since she expresses the personal opinion of the journalist. They called on the claim of the President of Rosneft to reject.

The lawsuit indicated three fragments of the text of Kharatyan, which requires to refute Sechin. In the first of them, the journalist argues: "... at the current position of his ability and the opportunity to influence the adoption of the main state decisions, President Sechin did not lose at all: it seems to be" Rosneft "and is controlled by the government, since he has" granddaughter " - but it seems not very much."

These reasoning contains, according to Rosneft lawyers, “allegations of violation by the plaintiff of the current legislation of the Russian Federation, which establishes the inadmissibility of unlawful interference in the activities of civil servants.” Journalists indicated that the article does not say that this influence is illegally, Rapsey notes.

The second fragment, which was allocated by the lawyers of the oil company, sounds like this: “And on the other (parties), all sorts of bureaucratic restrictions and difficulties do not concern the presidential position of Igor Sechin, and that you can not talk about his well -being, is a trifle compared to the possibility of concluding gigantic contracts, buying literally everything that, finally, will not answer for any steps to anyone except for any steps. Rosneft lawyers believed that Sechin accused of violating the legislation on joint -stock companies in this fragment in terms of the control of the activities of their executive bodies to shareholders. As follows from the lawsuit, the passage of the article claims that "that" Rosneft "is not controlled by anyone and is not subordinated to anyone." The owner of 69.5% of the company's shares is the state enterprise Rosneftegaz.

The third fragment of the text, which caused Sechin’s discontent, sounds like this: “The rhetorical question is whether the Russian state cannot be equated on behalf of the top -manager acts, the President of Sechin, neither to him, nor to Vladimir Putin,”. The plaintiff believes that this proposal contains information about the violation of Sichin's business ethics and moral standards, contrasting it with "society and the people as a source of power."

All this information, as indicated in the lawsuit, "can create a false idea of ​​the company that the plaintiff, being the president of the Rosneft NK, carries out his activities with violations of the current legislation."

The editors of the newspaper Vedomosti will appeal the decision of the Ostankino Court of Moscow, said lawyer Anna Kryuchkova. “Of course, we will appeal this decision,” she said. The defendants have 30 days to file an appeal.

This is not the first claim of Sechin to the media lately. On August 1, the Savelovsky Court of Moscow satisfied the lawsuit of the President of Rosneft with the Forbes magazine and the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper with a demand to refute their information that they have widespread. The reason for the trial was then the publication that Sechin is the highest paid top manager in Russia.
