Parents of paratroopers demand to check information about their possible deployment to Ukraine

Demands to clarify the fate of the paratroopers, who are allegedly being transferred to Ukraine, were received by the Union of Committees of Soldiers' Mothers from the parents of contractors, RBC reports .

The first official application was received by the Committee of Soldiers' Mothers on August 25 from the parents of Ilya Maksimov. They said that their son has not been in contact since August 17, after he went "to the fields for exercises." And later they saw the name of their son in the Ukrainian social networks in the list of Russian soldiers killed in the Donbass, who fought on the side of the separatists. The military registration and enlistment office refused to give exact information about the whereabouts of Maksimov.

On August 26, a letter was received from Alena Kosachenko. According to her, at the end of July, her son Valery Komarov was transferred to a military unit stationed near the village of Gukovo, Rostov Region.

On August 26, Valery called his mother and said that their commander, Colonel Medinsky, “gathered 50 conscripts and said: That's it, now you are all contract soldiers. If you don't sign the papers, I'll sign everything for you." On August 24, Kosachenko assures, her son also contacted her and said that "tags and numbers were collected from everyone in case of missing or death."
