Artdokfest launched a crowdfunding campaign

A campaign to raise funds for the conduct of the Artdox Festival Festival was announced on the Internet.

The campaign is held on the website Planeta.ru .

“Artdokfest decided to launch crowdfunding as part of the preparation of the festival, which will be held from December 9 to 17 in Moscow. - reports Facebook by the president of the festival, director Vitaly Mansky. - Unfortunately, we still have no clarity about the sum and form of the support of Artdokfest by the Ministry of Culture.

“Despite the fact that Artdokfest took first place in the ranking of all film festivals held in the Russian Federation in 2013, we traditionally receive state support more modestly than the so -called Festivals that none of you have ever heard of you. - writes Mansky. - We need to pick up at least one million rubles. I hasten to reassure - "Artdokfest" will take place in any case, whatever it costs us! "

The total budget of Artdokfest is about 8 million rubles (for comparison, the budget of a similar festival, for example, in Poland or the Czech Republic begins with 1 million euros).

This year only in the competition program of the festival there is 21 film, in the program "Wednesday" - 35 films, 40 paintings will be shown outside the competition. More than 50 authors, experts and curators of world film festivals will be invited to Moscow.
