The court extended the arrest of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko until October 30

The court of the Soviet district Voronezh until October 30 extended the arrest of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko. This was reported by her lawyer Nikolai Polozov.

Protection insisted on changing the preventive measure from detention on a cash deposit of one million rubles. The prosecutor objected, citing a political situation.

Lawyers presented the evidence collected in Ukraine. The court granted the defense petition and introduced the protocol of the Taras Sinyagovsky survey. Savchenko herself said that she was abducted and all investigative and judicial actions are illegal. She refused to admit her involvement in the deaths of employees of the VGTRK.

On June 18, Savchenko was captured by terrorists at the village of Metalist of the Lugansk region, when it went to pull out the wounded from two lined armored personnel carriers. The militants accused her of the day earlier she adjusted the fire on their checkpoint. Then, as a result of mortar shelling , the correspondent of VGTRK Igor Korneluk and the video engineer of the canal Anton Voloshin died.

On July 8, it turned out that Savchenko was transported to the Voronezh pre -trial detention center . The next day, the pilot was charged under part 5 of Article 33, paragraphs “A”, “B”, “E”, “F” and “L” of part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (aiding in the murder in the generally hazardous method of two or more persons in connection with the implementation of their official activities based on political hatred, committed by a group of persons). At the same time, the press secretary of the TFR Vladimir Markin said that Savchenko was detained in Russia, after she crossed the border under the guise of refugees. Then, on July 9, the Novousmansky district court of the Voronezh region arrested Savchenko until August 30.

On July 11, Poroshenko promised to do everything for the release of Savchenko . In response to this, Markin said that the Ukrainian authorities would not be able to free the pilot. “The same chances as him (Poroshenko. - Ed.) To become the president of America,” the official said.

On July 16, Savchenko first met with the Ukrainian consul Gennady Breskalenko. Visiting the prisoner consul was allowed after nine of his statements. Savchenko herself kept a hunger strike for eight days, demanding a meeting with the representative of Ukraine. The next day, Savchenko was visited by her lawyers, as well as the Russian Ombudsman Ella Pamfilova. The pilot wrote a statement on the initiation of a criminal case on the fact of her abduction from the territory of Ukraine.

On July 25, the Voronezh Regional Court rejected the arrest of Savchenko. Lawyers sought her exemption on security 500 thousand rubles. They attached a letter of guarantee a letter to the Embassy of Ukraine. After the decision is announced, two Ukrainian journalists launched the flag of their country in the courtroom.
