Solidarity activist Dmitry Monakhov, detained in the morning on Manezhnaya Square, was arrested for 15 days under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (resisting a lawful demand of a police officer). This was reported by Emil Terekhin, who was admitted to the trial as a defense attorney, and who had previously been detained by bailiffs while drawing up a power of attorney from Monakhov.
The decision to place Monakhov under administrative arrest was made by Tverskoy District Court Judge Alexei Stekliev.
According to activist Olga Faleeva, who is located near the Tverskoy court building, Monakhov was just taken out of the court building in handcuffs.
