Cases of the appeal of the parents of Russian soldiers to human rights organizations were more frequent due to the fact that their sons were redirected to the Rostov region, after which they disappeared. According to RBC with reference to a member of the Presidential Council of Human Rights Sergei Krivenko, such statements come from the Kuban, Dagestan, Astrakhan, Chechnya, Stavropol, Magnitogorsk, while they concern both conscripts and contractors. Close soldiers are afraid that their sons have already been sent to Ukraine. The reason for these fears, in particular, is that some names appeared in Ukrainian social networks, where the lists of Russian soldiers who died in Ukraine are published.
Human rights activists took up the formation of the lists of those soldiers who, according to their assumption, died or went missing. These versions are put forward on the basis of stories that fall into the Union of Committee of Soldiers' Mother. For example, a resident of Magnitogorsk Alena Kosachenko said that her 19-year-old son is a soldier, who serves as a paratrooper in the Ryazan region. The woman fears that he would be sent to fight to Ukraine, because from the words of her son she found out that the commander forces conscripts to sign contracts for military service.
Executive Secretary of the Union of Committee of Soldiers' Mothers Valentin Melnikova on the air of Radio Ekho Moskvy said that the Russian Ministry of Defense has no right to send conscripts to Ukraine to participate in the fighting in the conditions of undeclared war.
The head of the Stavropol Committee of Soldiers' Mothers Lyudmila Bogatenkova formed a list of 400 people, which contained allegedly dead and wounded Russian soldiers, the rain television channel reported on Wednesday. According to the head of the committee, the list was based on information obtained from various unofficial sources in the armed forces that it cannot be called. It contains soldiers from the 19th separate motorized rifle Voronezh-Human brigade, deployed in Vladikavkaz, the 17th separate guards motorized rifle brigade in the city of Shali, Chechnya, as well as from the 8th separate guards motorized rifle brigade in the city of Shata, also in Chechnya. As Bogatyenkova noted, employees from other military units are also present in this list, and it is constantly updated.
According to RBC, this is the second list of soldiers, last week Bogatenkova received a list of dead military personnel from the 18th motorized rifle brigade located in the Chechen city of Shali. According to her, at the beginning of the month, part of this brigade was transferred to the Rostov region, and after a while it became known about the death of nine people. Bogatenkov sent this first list to the Presidential Council for Human Rights, but is not in a hurry to send him to the Ministry of Defense. “Until this list is officially sent to the Ministry of Defense, it makes no sense to comment on it,” said Valentina Melnikova.
The resonance around the assumptions about the fate of Russian paratroopers-cones began to be created in Saratov. Love and Yuri Maksimov spoke at a press conference, where they said that their son Ilya Maksimov, who served in the army under the contract, stopped contacting, and then they found his documents and the name in the list of Russian soldiers who fought on the side of the militias in Ukrainian social networks. The soldier's parents demanded accurate information from the authorities about where their son is. “This is the first official statement of loss. So far no one has appealed to the Union of Soldiers' Mothers in Pskov, there are no statements either in the Stavropol or Nizhny Novgorod regions, ”Melnikova noted .
On Wednesday, August 27, Ilya Maksimov nevertheless got in touch with his parents, he called his father’s phone and said that everything was in order with him. According to the mother, the soldier said that he was on exercises in the Rostov region, and the driver’s license and photographs that were published in the media and social networks are located with him.
Recall that the concern of loved ones for soldiers who are now in the army, and, in particular, in the landing troops, are unsafe. On August 25, the operational group of the Armed Forces and the SBU of Ukraine detained a group of ten Russian paratroopers in the Donetsk region. According to the report published on the official website of the SBU, military personnel of the 331st regiment of the 98th Svir Division of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (military unit 71211) were allegedly detained near the village of Mirror Ambrosievsky District of the Donetsk Region. The SBU claims that the detainees had personal documents and weapons. The paratroopers allegedly reported that on the night of August 25, they, as part of the entire battalion, were made a march from the Rostov region of Russia to Ukraine. It is also noted on the website of the department that from the words of the detainees it became known about the planned "invasion of Russian technology" into the territory of Ukraine.
The source of the Interfax agency in the Russian Ministry of Defense called this incident an accident: “These servicemen really participated in patrolling the section of the Russian-Ukrainian border, and it was probably accidentally interspersed in an unequipped unemarked area. The resistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the detention, as far as we know, were not provided. ” According to the latest data, the SBU accuses the detained paratroopers of terrorism.
The virtual confrontation of supporters and opponents of Russian foreign policy continues on social networks. Many do not consider it appropriate to direct the risk of conscripts in the risk zone in the presence of a contract of contractors, others do not understand why there is a conversation about who they are sent to war when no war has been declared.
“The war between Putin and Ukraine brings grief and Russian people. Killed and wounded, how many are there, is it time to stop the fratricidal war? Do the paratroopers patrol the border? The purpose of the Airborne Forces is completely different ... ”, the user VBSVob comments on the news. ““ Vilely and primitively ”to send councils to the war to the war, as“ to nowhere ”,” writes Ayamilaya.
“Yes, dear Russians, we are like that. Even worse than you think, so take all conscripts (and contractors) from the army, otherwise they will send it to Ukraine inadvertently, and here it is such that it is even scary to show on TV, ” writes user Slava Artamonov.
“Before panicing about sending, they would ask themselves a quite logical question - what will the recruits do, in fact, boys from the street, in Lugansk ??? This is not a war with an external aggressor when all forces are mobilized. In Lugansk, if help is required, then the help of professionals. And the effects of the extras there and Ukrainian warriors create well, ” says Helen Podbash.
