Lars von Trier will shoot a new series

Danish director Lars von Trier is going to remove the television series “The House that Jack” (The House that Jack Built).

This was announced by producer Louise West during the presentation of the directorial version of Nymphomaniac-2 (Nymphomaniac Volume II) at the Venice Film Festival, Gazeta.ru reports.

The message on the website of the film company Zentropa says that famous actors from different countries will be shot in the series.

Von Trier was already working for television. In 1994, the four-part film “ The Kingdom” was released, and three years later the director shot four more episodes (“Kingdom-2”, 1997). This picture made the director popular in Europe and the USA. In 2004, the 13-Serial Royal Hospital was shown, the script for which was written by Stephen King based on the film von Trier.

The script for the new series von Trier will begin to work this fall, shooting should begin in 2016.
