On the City Day, September 6, the Moscow Culture Department holds a concert “Music on the Water” at the Patriarchal Ponds, in which the soloist of the Moscow Musical Theater named after Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Hibla Gerzmava will take part.
The Persimfans and the chamber ensemble of young Russian soloists will also perform the Patriarchals.
The festival “Music on the Water” arose in 2014 at the initiative of the violinist of Elena Revich and the musical critic and producer Ilya Kukharenko. The festival unites the best young performers of academic and popular music, designers, directors, theater and film and producers.
The idea of the festival is the cultural development of the water spaces of Russia and the world. In each new place, its program changes and synchronizes with the history and cultural context of water space. Concerts are organized together with local cultural and educational organizations.
The festival began on August 9 on Patriarchal Ponds as part of the Bulgakov Day, which was held by the State Museum of M.A. Bulgakova and the Department of Culture of Moscow. The next season, the festival concerts will be held in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, the Krasnodar Territory and Novosibirsk.
