Children. They grew up, received passports, brought up families, picked up weapons, but they never became adults. And we are trying to explain something to them. It seems to me that today this is the most important problem of Russian society.

Probably, the eternal Russian infantilism stems from the prolonged feudalism: even representatives of the educated class sympathized with the people looked at him as an unreasonable child, which should be taught, educated, patronized and hidden from it. Then the children of the educated class rebelled against the fathers.

Indeed, there are no theaters for the same to delight old men saturated with life ... In our populist state, the school should devote incomparably more time to physical education. It is no good to burden young brains with such ballast as it is done now.

Hitler painted dozens of pages with similar reasoning. And what Milonov, which Mizulin and Zhilo will not subscribe under them?

The Bolshevik revolution has become a revolution of adolescents. The whole country turned into a "fairy tale of the lost time": the old people and the old women spoke and acted as primary school students. "Children'siness" was considered a positive character trait. Infantilism was a form of escapism, and the most common and reliable. Well, is it surprised that our president gives guidelines for the program "Good night, kids"! Apparently, an adult politician also sore him. He, too, like Dorian Gray, does not want to age and must constantly demonstrate his youth.

The eternal child is Ruer aeternus - one of the Jungian archetypes. This is a child who does not want to grow up. After all, growing up is associated with responsibility. Nowadays, with the development of technology, adults have new ways to remain children: they become passionate gamers, consumers of the fantasy genre and owners of the latest gadgets that allow you to kill time, just not to think about anything. Facebook contributes to this flight from reality, which turned us all, according to Dostoevsky, into "people with short thoughts." In America, they came up with a special word - “Kidalt” composed of the words “child” (KID) and “adult” (adult). Well, of course, the personification of Kidalta can serve as a Henry from the Dragon, exclaiming in response to the accusations of Lancelot: "But let me! If you are deeply considered, then I personally have not been guilty. I was taught so." “They taught everyone,” Lancelot objects gloomily. “But why are you the first student, such a cattle?”

Social infantilism is a terrible evil. It is he who accustoms citizens to passivity and evasion of responsibility for his own fate. They take their pensions - they are silent. They scored consumer loans, and there is nothing to pay debts - well, something will come up with something. They are declared food bans - somehow the state will feed. The main thing is to obey the authorities.
