A court in Perm found Evgeniya Vychigina guilty of distributing extremist materials and arrested one thousand rubles for one thousand rubles, whom one of the “friends” of VKontakte tagged in a video he published. “Evgenia was found guilty under Art. 20.29 of the Administrative Code, she intends to appeal this decision of the Kirovsky District Court to a higher authority,” Maria Kravchenko, an employee of the SOVA analytical center, told Mediazona. She noted that this is the first decision of its kind when the reason for initiating an administrative case was not a publication or comment left by the user himself, but a mark made by another person. The video that became the reason for the persecution of Vychigina is “The Last Interview of Primorye Partisans,” included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials. According to employees of the Perm Center “E”, the girl’s fault was that she did not reject, but confirmed the mark of herself in this video.
