The artistic director of the Moscow Theater "Lenkom" Mark Zakharov is in the Botkin Hospital with a diagnosis of a fracture of the leg, ITAR-TASS reports with reference to the director of Lenkoma Mark Varsaver.

According to the director of the theater, the famous director "fell at home in the bathroom, apparently slipped." At the ambulance, Zakharov was taken to the Botkin hospital to the traumatology department, where the doctors performed the necessary studies, diagnosing a fracture of moderate severity. Together with his father, the clinic is a daughter, actress Alexander Zakharov.

“The issue of surgery is currently being resolved,” Warsaver said. He expressed the hope that Zakharov would cope with the injury and will soon return to work.

Mark Zakharov - 80 years old, since 1973 the director heads the Moscow Theater "Lenkom". Currently, Zakharov is a professor at the Rati Director (formerly GITIS). He is the secretary of the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation, a member of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR, academician of the Russian Television Academy (1997), academician of the International Academy of Creativity (2000), academician of the Russian Academy of Cinematographic Arts, member of the Moscow SP (1999).
