
Five people died in an accident in the Yaroslavl region, Interfax reports with reference to the deputy head of the information and public relations of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs Marina Kokueva.
According to the source of the agency, the accident occurred at 231 kilometers of the federal highway M-8 Moscow-Kholmogory in the Gavrilov-Yamsky district at 19:40.
"As a result of the collision of Opel and VAZ -2112 vehicles, five people died, three victims were hospitalized," Kokueva said.
According to preliminary information of the department, among the victims two minors are 8 and 14 years old.
As noted in the police, the circumstances of the incident are clarified.
