Lifenews channel on YouTube is blocked

The LifeNews TV channel on the YouTube video hosting is blocked by the administration. Google, which belongs to YouTube, explained the blocking by repeated violation of the service rules.

On the main page of the LifeNews account there is a message from the YouTube administration: “The LifeNewsru user account was deleted after numerous complaints of the third parties due to the fact that the materials placed by the user violated copyrights.”

Lifenews editor-in-chief Anatoly Suleimanov told ITAR-TASS that the television channel account was blocked due to the fraud of the user who bought a video.

“In YouTube, we wrote a counterattack with explanations to be unlocked,” added Suleimanov.

“We do not comment on the blocking of specific channels, but if the video recognizes the principles of the community, it is deleted, and the user who loaded it receives a warning,” the press service of the Russian representative office of Google explained. “In case of repeated violation of the Rules, the user account can be blocked.”
